Plugins are the key to unlocking ChatGPT’s potential. Each plugin adds a new functionality for ChatGPT to use when helping you with tasks. They also allow you to customize the tool with what you need; kinda like ad-blocking or password management plugins you can add to your web browser.

Today I’m going to show you the 10 best ChatGPT plugins that have saved me a ton of time & money.

🔌Adding Your First Plugin.

If you already know how to add plugins to ChatGPT, you can skip ahead to build your toolbelt of plugins.

First, let’s learn to access the Plugin store step-by-step.

1. Create New Chat

2. Hover over “GPT-4” & move curser down to click on “Plugins”

3. Click “No plugins enabled” or the button below “GPT-4” then click “Plugin store”.

4. This is our home for all things Plugin where we will browse & search the full catalog available to us.

   

5. In the search bar, let’s type the name of the first plugin we’ll add to our toolbelt, “Coupert”, and click the green button “Install”

   

6. One last note before we begin our journey. ChatGPT allows you to enable up to 3 plugins at a time. So remember to disable and enable your plugins as needed.

📝VoxScript.

I get tired of scrubbing through videos when I’m studying. It can be incredibly useful to read rather than watch a video to retain more information and take notes. VoxScript allows you to obtain the transcript of any video:

But that’s just the beginning of how useful ChatGPT and VoxScript integrated is. Take it a step further and ask Chat GPT to summarize the transcript using bullet points:

First, copy code:

The prompt ChatGPT, “can you summarize the following using bullet points? insert copied code”

BOOM. 9 minute video → 20 second read.

A new update even lets you choose from different voices. Use cases for this are endless. Entrepreneurs can use this for promotional purposes or you can use it to create audio books when you don’t have time to read.
